Founded in 1982 by Walter Grzegorzek, General Machine has proudly served the complex machining industry for over four decades. Now a woman-owned and family-operated business, we are excited to introduce Dorothy Carlone as our new President. Dorothy, alongside her brother Ray Grzegorzek and our skilled team, leads the company as specialists in high-quality complex parts for the Aerospace, Defense, and Space & Sea sectors. Walter Grzegorzek | Founder
Walter came to the US from Poland at the age of 25 in search of the American Dream. With a few dollars in his pocket and no family here, he took a job as a machinist because blueprint reading was universal. He learned his skill sets of machining and taught himself English by watching Walter Cronkite on the CBS Evening News. He spent the next 15 years learning the trade with the dream of opening his own business.
